Now that mom has done her work, and her babies are safely into new homes, all of them spayed and neutered so they will not be creating another family... the long job of finding a loving home for mother cat begins.  If you cannot adopt her yourself, you can still help her by donating toward her food, litter and medical care.  VCC's fosters homes will care for her and search relentlessly for a place for her to live.

We constantly have cats and kittens in foster care that are in need of permanent homes and will help you find the right cat for you.

We distribute information and ask policy makers to implement programs such as TNR and committing to humane No Kill policies so that our community can join the forefront of cat advocates in the U.S. who have realized that Trap and Kill programs are a failure and inhumane.

Our new 2009 KWCS / VCC T-shirts are here!! With Raphaella's painting of Diana (a KWCS rescue), these shirts come in dozens of colors and four styles: regular T-shirt, Women's Cut, Tank, Spaghetti strap. Sizes include S, M, L, XL - email Raphaella (cats@heartfulart.com) for preferences.
