Lost or Found Cats

Have you lost or found a cat? While Venice Cat Coalition is not an official clearinghouse for such information, we will help you if we can. You should report the lost or found pet to Sarasota County Animal Services at 941-861-9500 and to Suncoast Humane Society in Englewood at 941....

You also can register at this national website, www.TheCenterForLostPets.com. This website has several links to other places where information on what to do in the case of a missing pet.  You will find it very helpful, so please visit it for advice and to register the animal.

Please microchip your cats now, so that there is a chance that you will get a phone call if your cat is lost and then found. VCC scans all found cats to see if a chip has been implanted. We usually find a cat with a microchip and owner about once every four months, so we know it works!

You can send us information on the cat you have lost or found below.
