The Key West Cat Society is dedicated to changing our nation's approach to the problem of too many homeless cats.

 We work the "feet on the street"  with cats in Venice, Florida, and surrounding communities. The founder of the KWCS, Theresa Foley, spent more than 5 years helping the street cats in Key West and learned most of what she knows about trapping, spay-neuter, feral kittens, neonatal kittens and advocacy for cats from the felines and citizens of the Southernmost City.

Thank you ASPCA for helping Sarasota and Charlotte cats!

ASPCA has awarded two grants, a $4,000 award for cat vaccines and a $3,000 award to purchase TNR cat traps for our Charlotte County iniative.  We are extremely grateful to this national organization for helping us to get humane population control for cats started in our area. ASPCA is the first organization to step up to this challenge with sizeable grant funding for Charlotte.  The trappers, the cats and the community thank you!

Donations will be used for traps, surgeries, rabies shots, kitten fostering and adoption expenses. We are an all volunteer group, so no funds go to salaries and our administrative costs are minimal.
